The Rhum J.M La Dame Jeanne N.2 Très Vieux Agricole is one of the oldest Rhum Agricole productions from the island of Martinique. The distillery is located at the foot of the Mont-Pelée volcano. The lush landscape provide ideal conditions for the cultivation of high-quality sugar cane. All cane used at distillery is grown in the surrounding fields.
This bottling is a combination of 8 to 22-year-old rhums, some of which matured in ex-bourbon barrels, some in charred, fresh American oak barrels and in French oak barrels pre-matured with wine in the tropical climate of Martinique. The design of the bottle is reminiscent of the pear-shaped glass containers called "Dame Jeanne", which were used for the storage and transport of rum, from which the bottling takes its name. Bottled at cask strength.
